Explanations Of The Armada And Its Crew
This section will detail all of the information concerning Asteria's Armada's structure and the various crew positions found within.

Organization of Asteria's Armada
The organizational chart below shows the hierarchy of the various positions within the armada.

The top ranking position is the Dread Pirate Queen with his/her First Mate and Admiral directly below. Together, the holders of these three positions are considered to be First Tier Officers. The next level is made up of advisory positions known as Commodores and crewmembers holding these titles are considered Second Tier Officers. Together, these positions comprise what are considered high-ranking officers, or the officership, of Asteria's Armada.

Under the officership positions are the crews of the armada. Crews are essentially semi-permanent patrol units in the armada. When not on patrol, Crew members are free to work on miscellaneous tasks that benefit Asteria’s Armada. Their main duty is to provide protection for fish runs and when the Dread Pirate Queen deems necessary, raid enemy towns or attack enemy groups. Each crew is headed by a Crew Captain who presides over his crewmembers. It is important to note that each crew is of equal status as the others.

On the same level as the Crew Captains are the various Town Agents.

General Duties of Asteria's Armada Crew Members
Regardless of their position within the armada, all crewmembers are responsible for the specific duties that follow:

- Watch out for abuse of their town's market and report any suspicious activity to a high-ranking officer.

- Keep an eye out for suspicious activity and potential or know criminals and report it/him/her to a high-ranking officer.

- Be willing to serve as backup forces for the county they reside in at the Dread Pirate Queen's approval.

- Respect and obey the orders given by higher-ranking officers unless they conflict with any of the armada's rules, have not been given special license by the Dread Pirate Queen, and/or conflict with an order given by the officer's superiors.

Officership Position Descriptions
The following positions are considered either First Tier or Second Tier officership positions.

DREAD PIRATE QUEEN
One designation available
This position is the highest rank in Asteria's Armada. The person with this title is mainly responsible for approving and overseeing all large-scale activities done in the name of Asteria's Armada and serving as the main spokesperson/diplomat for Asteria’s Armada. The Dread Pirate Queen also oversees the forum and is responsible for its maintenance and the approval, denial, or suspension of membership. All other positions in Asteria's Armada are assigned and reassigned as the Dread Pirate Queen sees fit. When an issue arises that calls for the punishment or censure of an armada member, the Dread Pirate Queen oversees the proceedings and assigns penalties as he/she sees fit. In the case that the Dread Pirate Queen is in question for his/her conduct, the situation will be handled by his/her First Mate, the Admiral and/or the Second Tier officers.

Mainly, the Admiral serves as the director of the second-tier officers and coordinates their activities. The Admiral also serves as an assistant to the Dread Pirate Queen and has many of the same diplomatic powers. The Admiral may coordinate diplomatic relations with other towns and groups, but must get the Dread Pirate Queen’s approval for any of these agreements to be considered valid. Should the Dread Pirate Queen be incapacitated or killed, the Admiral serves as a stand in for the Dread Pirate Queen.
